Let your difficult past go.

Healing from past trauma is within your reach

What is trauma? Is this how you feel?

Trauma occurs when distressing experiences leave a lasting impact on your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. It can stem from a single event, like an accident or loss, or accumulate over time through prolonged stress or adverse experiences.

Contrary to popular belief, trauma doesn’t have to be a result of some dramatic event, such as war or assault. In fact, any event that has an overwhelming and distressing impact can be considered traumatic.

Typical symptoms of trauma:

Flashbacks or intrusive memories

Constant anxiety and hypervigilance

Difficulty sleeping or concentrating

A sense of detachment or numbness

Problems with sleeping

Sadness

Symptoms may include:

Nightmares

Emotional numbness or a sense of isolation

Increased alertness and difficulty relaxing

Discover trauma therapy

Trauma therapy will support you in processing difficult experiences, reducing their significance and impact on your life, and helping you feel in control again. When it comes to trauma therapy, we use evidence-based approaches that include EMDR and CBT – two powerful approaches that help you process traumatic experiences and minimize their impact.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing):

It’s one of the most effective therapeutic techniques when it comes to trauma counseling. It involves so-called bilateral stimulation that enables you to reprocess painful past experiences and, as a result, reduce their impact on your daily functioning.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):

CBT enables you to identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns tied to trauma. By restructuring these detrimental thoughts, CBT helps you to develop healthier coping mechanisms, reduce anxiety and fear related to past trauma, and gain a clearer perspective on your present situation.
